Job Summary
We are seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our Event Security team as Safety and Security Team Members. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for enforcing access control policies, implementing security protocols, and providing superior customer service to guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in all aspects of event day preparation and execution, including setup, crowd control, and tear-down.
- Allow appropriate entry into each venue, collect and/or scan tickets, verify wristbands and badges, direct traffic coming in and out of the venue.
- Screen guests during entry via bag searching, hand wand or metal detector, and ID verification.
- Protect guests, staff, and venue ownership group assets by watching for security breaches at vital checkpoints.
- Respond quickly to potential crowd control issues and provide escorts for unruly guests when ejections are warranted.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- As a condition of employment, candidate must successfully complete a background investigation and a post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test; additional screening may be required if driving a customer or company owned vehicle.
- Able to use good independent judgment and discretion.
- Must be able to work overtime as needed.
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
