Job Description
We offer flexible part-time work as an Event Security Officer at Acrisure Arena. You will earn $18/hour with a guard card or $17/hour without one. Financial assistance for obtaining a guard card is available upon hire.
Responsibilities
- Assist in event day preparation and execution.
- Allow entry to the venue, collect tickets, verify wristbands and badges, and direct traffic.
- Screen guests during entry via bag searching, hand wand or metal detector, and ID verification.
- Protect guests, staff, and ownership assets by watching for security breaches.
- Respond to potential crowd control issues and provide escorts for unruly guests.
- Understand policies, procedures, and regulations of different venues and events.
- Provide a positive experience for guests and assist with directions and suggestions.
Qualifications
- You must be 18 years old or older and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Licensing requirements vary by state and local laws.
- You must complete a background investigation and drug/alcohol test prior to employment.
- You must be able to use good judgment and discretion.
- You must be able to work overtime as needed.
- You must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
