As a Elite Armed Security Officer - Warehouse Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .
As a Patrol Armed Officer in a retail or mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence. This is an armed post, requiring you to carry out your duties with professionalism and attention to detail. You will interact with the public, offer exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly with team members. Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
- Monitor for suspicious behavior or unauthorized access within the retail environment.
- Assist with access control and verify identification as required by site policies.
- Document and report security-related incidents and observations according to established protocols.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have an Armed Designation for this role.
- Must have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military experience, or possess a college degree or 5 years of Armed Security experience.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Level III Armed Certification is required for Texas positions.
- Texas Security Armed Professional Guard Card required.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
