Nuclear Firewatch Officer Job Description:

This 12-hour night shift position requires valid driver's license, ability to pass background check and drug/alcohol screening, and prior security, nuclear, or firewatch experience preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control fires.
• Identify and report potential fire hazards.
• Ensure all paperwork is accurate and complete.
• Collaborate with local emergency personnel as needed.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Able to obtain and maintain necessary state or federal licensing requirements.
• Previous work experience preferred.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
