Core Duties & Responsibilities
- Develops and maintains the Quote System and Bill of Material (BOM) for all Quote System Bases that pertain to Control Valve Assemblies and Accessories.
- Advises Personnel in the Valve Teardown Department on new additions to the Quote Systems as it pertains to their job. Receives advice when occurrences of Standard or out of the ordinary Control Valve Assemblies are found to be deficient, and make modifications, so that these assemblies can be remanufactured.
- Advises the sales personnel in the use of the Quote System as they use it to develop their Model Numbers for Stock Check inquiries and in turn the Quotes that are sent to potential customers.
- Advise Customers, when requested, about equipment issues that they may having.
- Advises production personnel about any Valve or Accessories, Quote System or BOM, individual part issues that they may inquire about.
- Works with all the departments in order to complete the job in a timely manner.
- Interacts with the customer occasionally.
- Works closely with co-workers, management, and safety coordinators to ensure of being in compliance with OSHA and any other safety regulations.
- Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
