Business Unit/Department: Instrumentation and Valves Services
Location: Lawrence, PA
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assemble valve actuation packages
- Repair and assemble safety relief valves
- Disassemble, evaluate, rebuild and test Isolation and Control valves
- Troubleshoot electrical instrumentation components
- Maintain a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and perform work outdoors
The Ideal Candidate:
- MUST have a minimum of a 2 year vocational or technical college degree OR a minimum of 5 years of experience working in an industrial/manufacturing environment (automotive service experience preferred). Military experience in this or a related field will also be considered.
- Proficient with mechanical tools and equipment.
- Basic understanding of the operating principles, installation and maintenance of AC and DC electrical circuits.
- Basic understanding of the operating principles, installation and maintenance of pneumatic circuits.
- Ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds.
- Ability to work any overtime that is required to complete a particular assignment (occasional weekend work)
- Ability to travel out of town and work in the field when required.
- Personable and willing to interact professionally with gas industry customers
- Willing to work individually or as a team member
