Position Summary :
The Data Governance Lead mission is to establish a data governance framework and drive data management practices across the organization that align with Allied World’s strategic objectives. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and data management expert with the ability to bring together business leaders, technology leaders, and partners to :
- Identify critical data assets and their usage
- Create and activate a data governance framework
- Establish policies and procedures to validate and protect our critical data assets
The Data Governance Lead will play a critical part in Allied World’s Data & Analytics Team led by the Chief Data Officer.
Key Responsibilities :
Develop and Implement Data Governance Framework :
Lead monthly “Data Standards Committee” with senior stakeholders and provide transparency on all data and analytics initiatives.
Accountability : Taking personal accountability to get this done as per our commitments.
