Maintenance Technician
- Night Shift Opening:
The production schedule runs 12-hour shifts (7 PM - 7 AM), flexible and open to maintenance working a 10-hour shift from 8 PM to 6 AM.
- 2nd Shift Openings:
Two openings on 2nd shift for a 10-hour shift.
Salary: $30hr-40hr annually, plus a quarterly bonus of $750. There is a 6-month performance evaluation with the potential for a salary increase.
Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our growing team, responsible for maintaining and repairing plant equipment within our manufacturing facility. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the efficient operation of mechanical systems, including extruders, mixers, blenders, air compressors, and other essential machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on manufacturing equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues to minimize downtime and ensure smooth plant operations.
- Assist with the installation and commissioning of new machinery.
- Document maintenance activities and report equipment performance and issues.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations during all maintenance tasks.
- Work collaboratively with team members to identify equipment upgrades and performance improvement opportunities.
- Manage inventory of spare parts and tools for optimal operational efficiency.
- Participate in ongoing training to stay up-to-date on the latest equipment and maintenance best practices.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting, focusing on mechanical systems.
- Proven experience in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Comfortable working in a plant environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
