Main Responsibilities
Your responsibilities as an AlliedOP employee will include, but are not limited to the following:
· Review and processing of orthotic and prosthetic healthcare claims submitted to insurance payors, such as Medicare, Medicaid, Private Insurance, and hospital facilities.
· Review EOBS and post payments to be applied to claims submitted to the insurance payors noted above, among others.
· Assist in the appeal, review, or correction of denied or improperly paid claims Coordinate and collaborate with clinical staff and management regarding insurance regulatory and compliance developments to assist in the development of best clinical practices.
· Other responsibilities consistent with the position outlined above as assigned by management from time to time.
Position Requirements
· High School or College Degree
· 2 years of Billing Specialist Experience preferred
· An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
· NYMBL EMR experience preferred but not required
