About The Position
Job Title : Social Worker
Job Location : Maryland
Type of Facility : Outpatient Community Mental Health Center
Length of Assignment : 26 weeks
Start Date : Immediately
Work Schedule : Monday - Friday, 9 : 00 AM - 4 : 15 PM
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Conduct initial assessments and individual therapy sessions for adult patients (21 and up)
- Facilitate group therapy sessions, including support groups, mental health groups, and DBT groups
- Provide outpatient therapy services in residential homes (1 house per day, with mileage reimbursement)
- Manage a caseload of 8-16 patients per day
- Complete thorough documentation using AdvancedMD EMR system
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatric nurse practitioners, RNs, psychologists, and clinical case managers
- Adapt to both outpatient clinic and home health settings
- Treat various diagnoses, primarily depression and anxiety
