Responsibilities :
- Conduct Homestudies :
Independently conduct thorough and comprehensive homestudies for prospective adoptive, kinship, and foster families.
Gather information through interviews, home visits, and relevant documents to assess applicants' background, parenting skills, and capacity to meet the needs of children.
Provide information and guidance to applicants on the homestudy process, requirements, and expectations.
Work collaboratively with case managers, legal professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive understanding of each family's situation.
Stay current on relevant laws, regulations, and best practices related to adoption, kinship care, and foster homes.
Provide crisis intervention and support services to families during the homestudy process as needed.
