We are seeking a OCHIN Epic Systems Analyst to provide application support and system optimization to the Health Center and Behavioral Health (BH) departments.
The OCHIN Epic Systems Analyst supports the implementation and optimization of the OCHIN Epic electronic health record (EHR) system by improving workflows, integrating technologies, and enhancing user satisfaction. The Clinical Systems Analyst will be responsible for the design, build, testing, training, and support of the OCIN EPIC Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. This position will also play a pivotal role in the optimization and configuration of OCHIN EPIC EHR system and collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective utilization of Epic applications to enhance patient care and operational efficiencies.

Top of Form Location San Jose, CA Hybrid On-Site 3 days per week, remote 2 days per week.
Salary Range : $37-$40
Day Shift : Monday through Friday.
Duties and responsibilities
Must have experience with OCHIN Epic implementation, improving workflows, integrating technologies, and enhancing user satisfaction configuration.
Perform workflow analysis and design with input and guidance from key operational leadership.
Facilitate workflow adoption on new processes.
Participate in system testing events by executing scripts. Accurately document and report any noted errors or deficiencies.
Provide support to users during system upgrade and optimization activities
Work with clinical staff to determine needs, specifications, feasibility, priorities for development, and configuration requests and projects.
Monitor and support user requirements for EHR and supporting applications
Analysis of user needs and requirements, application installation, table build and testing.
Provide advanced application troubleshooting support for applications as necessary.
Write test plans and coordinate user and internal testing.
Resolve and re-test identified errors and problems.
Test new systems, version upgrades, interfaces and other system modifications.
Work with clinical staff to determine needs, specifications, feasibility, priorities for development, and configuration requests and projects.
Monitor and support user requirements for Epic and supporting applications.
Required qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Informatics, Information Technology, Health Information Management, or a related field or equivalent experience.
Three (3) years of experience implementing, configuring, and supporting OCHIN Epic EHR applications.
Proficiency in system configuration, customization, and optimization within the OCHIN Epic environment.
Strong understanding of healthcare business operations and structure, clinical workflows, general requirements in an integrated delivery system, and use of IT applications in the practicing healthcare environment.
Technical expertise in subject matter areas demonstrated by documented experience in analysis, process design and workflow, research, installation / implementation, and support of OCHIN Epic EHR systems.
Ability to independently prioritize work assignments, meet deadlines and manage multiple projects and / or priorities.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and integrity in all work activities.
Certification in Epic applications preferred.
