Allient Inc. is currently seeking a Process Specialist Engineer to join our team in Reynosa, Tam., Mexico! Allient Inc. is a global publicly traded company with more than 2200 employees across 26 locations! The Process Specialist Engineer will help develop and sustain manufacturing processes to meet or exceed the technical requirements of our customers while achieving quality, throughput and cost objectives. Leads the implementation of manufacturing processes including, but not limited to process layout, equipment selection and installation, workflow, process flow, process characterization, process monitoring / control methods, material handling, tool selection, consumables, documentation, training and support. Responsibilities :
Assures engineering & validation principals are applied to manufacturing process design and sustainability.
Develops manufacturing processes to be trouble free and ensure success every time targeting Zero Defects.
Supports concurrent engineering efforts by participating in design development projects representing manufacturing / quality assurance and the customer.
Designs, implements and documents procedures for manufacturing process control, process improvement, testing and inspection.
Performs root-cause analysis and other problem-solving activities to identify corrective actions
Analyzes customers’ product specifications to establish efficient, cost-effective requirements for ease of manufacture and reproducible.
Minimum Qualifications :
Degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
3 to 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering
Bilingual
Experience in motor winding
Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs and HMI programming
Knowledge of Value Stream Mapping and PFMEA
Knowledge of SolidWorks
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing
Experience in design and transfer of assembly tools and process improvements
Knowledge of the ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 system is a plus
Knowledge of overmolding processes is a plus
Six Sigma (Green Belt) certification is a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.)
Willingness to travel
Good communication and organizational skills

INGENIERO ESPECIALISTA DE PROCESOS
Título en ingeniería mecatrónica, mecánica o electrónica
De 3 a 5 años de experiencia en ingeniería de manufactura
Bilingüe
Experiencia en embobinado de motores
Experiencia con PLC Allen Bradley, programación HMI
Conocimiento de mapeo de flujo de valores y PFMEA
Conocimiento de SolidWorks
Conocimiento de Lean Manufacturing
Experiencia en diseño y transferencia, de herramientas de ensamble y mejoras de procesos
Conocimiento del sistema ISO 90001 / IATF 16949 es un plus
