Position Summary: Under the direction of the Vice President of Human Resources, the HR Director ensures operational excellence, strategic growth, and alignment with organizational goals through all aspects of human resources.
What You'll Do:
- Collaborates with the Human Resource team by obtaining a comprehensive understanding of their areas of expertise, including administration of Benefits, Compensation, Corporate Recruiting, Talent Management, Human Resources Information and Learning Management Systems, Payroll Processing, Employee Relations, and Strategic Partnerships.
- Develops and implements HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Maintains a knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and ensures the organization's compliance.
- Assesses training needs to apply and monitor training programs through a Learning Management System.
- Ensures legal compliance in all Human Resources disciplines
- Responsibility for organization compliance with federal, state, and local legislation about all personnel matters.
- Develops and maintains the organization's Human Resources policies and procedures and ensures that proper compliance is followed.
- Manages the company’s performance review and compensation practices, including executive and variable compensation programs
- Supports current and future business needs through development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of talent
- Analyzes trends and develops strategies to make a positive impact on business results.
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 7 years of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. A master’s degree is preferred.
- SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) credential preferred.
- Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics.
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
- Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
- In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
- Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
