The Director of Human Resources is a strategic and forward-thinking leader responsible for ensuring alignment with business objectives and company culture. This role focuses on talent acquisition, employee engagement, reporting, training and coaching to create a cohesive, positive culture and employment experience across the Resort.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent and support the recruiting team.
- Obtain and utilize data to ensure appropriate reporting of all employer of choice metrics.
- Serve as a resource for leaders and associates to address concerns and mediate conflicts.
- Oversee employee satisfaction initiatives through various channels.
- Facilitate company sponsored training programs.
- Support resort sponsored employee events and activities.
- Utilize the HRIS system for employment related activity and reporting.
- Participating in the business planning process for the department and the resort.
- Lead workplace investigations as needed.
- Support benefits administration and related compliance.
- Update and communicate all revisions to policies, systems and procedures.
- Adhering to all standards at Camelback Resort as well as all Company policies outlined in the Employee Handbook.
- Actively supporting all Company initiatives.
- This is an onsite role. Qualified individuals must have the ability to work rotating Saturdays and events as needed.
- Leadership, problem solving, organizational and communication skills required.
- 1-3 years prior Human Resources leadership experience.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) a must.
- Strong customer service skills required.
- Prior hospitality experience preferred.
- Ability to get along well with others required.
