Position Overview
The Regional Director of Operations (RDO) oversees the operational performance of 11 senior living communities across Wisconsin. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance, driving financial performance, and leading teams to deliver outstanding care and services. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Operations, the RDO provides strategic leadership, operational oversight, and culture-building support to enhance the success of each community.
Requirements:Key Responsibilities
Operational & Regulatory Leadership:
- Oversee all aspects of operations for assigned communities, ensuring excellence in resident care, compliance, and financial performance.
- Maintain adherence to DHS 83, OSHA regulations, and Frontida’s internal policies and procedures.
- Ensure all communities comply with state, federal, and local regulations, including CBRF licensing and Medicaid programs.
- Implement quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives to enhance resident satisfaction and operational effectiveness.
Team Leadership & Culture Development:
- Provide hands-on leadership and coaching to Executive Directors and community teams.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Support and mentor leadership teams to ensure high employee engagement and retention.
- Engage with residents and families, creating a compassionate and supportive environment.
Financial & Business Strategy:
- Lead the financial and operational performance of assigned communities, including budget management, expense control, and revenue growth.
- Partner with sales and marketing teams to drive occupancy and revenue growth.
- Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for growth and service enhancement.
Travel Requirements:
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 90%, with some unexpected travel as needed.
- Regular in-person visits to communities across Wisconsin.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 5 years of leadership experience in senior living, healthcare, or related fields.
- Extensive knowledge of state and federal senior living regulations, including DHS 83 and CBRF licensing.
- Experience working with Wisconsin’s Managed Care Organizations (MCO), Medicaid Waiver, and other payment sources.
- Proven track record in operational leadership, financial management, and compliance oversight.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to motivate and mentor teams while maintaining a professional and approachable leadership style.
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field preferred.
