Morvillo Precision Products, a division of Alloy Holdings, LLC is currently recruiting for a Production Associate at our Providence, RI location. This entry level position is an outstanding opportunity for an individual to learn and get exposure to all facets of metals fabrication. Position is responsible for inspection, measuring, weighing, and packaging product to be delivered to the shipping department. You will work as part of a team, collaborating with other operators and skilled workers.
Essential Job Duties:
- Responsible for inspecting, measuring, and packaging final products.
- Enter order data into logs and material movement system.
- Setup, operate material cut to length and brush lines.
- Participate in quarterly physical inventories.
- Assist in other production areas as required.
- Support a safety culture by following all safety rules, wearing all required PPE, and reporting all incidents and near misses.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Excellent mechanical and logical thinking, able to do simple maintenance and repairs.
- Accuracy and attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions is critical.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English.
- High School diploma or GED
- Must follow all safety rules.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
Physical Requirements / Safety:
- Ability to stand and move throughout 8-10 hours shifts.
- Frequent lifting between 10 lbs. and 50 lbs.
- Moderate to loud noise level.
- Follow all PPE requirements.
