HIGHLIGHTS: We are seeking a highly motivated and success-driven, and competitive leader to take on the role of Studio Manager/Director of Fitness at Alloy Personal Training in Livingston NJ. Alloy is one of the fastest-growing fitness franchise brands in the US and provides Small Group Personal Training focused on 4-6 clients per session.

As Studio Manager/Director, you will receive a generous base salary PLUS bonus and/or commissions and benefits. PREMIUM COMPENSATION: Earning Potential up to $100,0000 or more plus benefits. Base salary for qualified Candidates starting at $60K. The top end Salary is not a "long shot" in this role. It is a very realistic and PROVEN earning potential for thriving fitness studios.

OTHER ROLES AT THIS STUDIO: We also have a Full-Time Head Personal Trainer (salary plus commissions) and 2 Part-Time Personal Trainer positions available. If you are not fully qualified for the Director roll, we will consider you for all applicable openings based on experience and qualifications.

HOW YOU’LL THRIVE AT ALLOY: As Studio Manager/Director, you will be instrumental in driving pre-sales, membership sales and retention, staffing, and team development. Your primary objective at Alloy is to ensure our studio delivers premium personal training and client experiences to achieve our monthly membership targets, while building a strong culture for our staff and members. You'll spend roughly 25%-50% of your time conducting small group (4-6 people) personal training sessions in our studio following Alloy's methodologies and standards. The rest of your time will be spent on studio growth and studio management.

CAREER GROWTH: You’ll play a critical role in bringing the Alloy brand to NEW JERSEY and achieving our plan to open multiple locations. Top performers have the potential to become a Regional Manager OR become partial owners of studio locations

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Critical sales role during pre-sales with the goal to reach 80-120 members prior to opening and then 150 members through ongoing sales and retention
  • Deliver premium client engagement; conduct initial consultations and generate goals and objectives in order to deliver member and employee satisfaction and reach monthly membership goals
  • Manage internal and external marketing activities, including maintaining social media presence and monitoring local digital marketing campaigns
  • Manage sales pipeline using lead management software with the goal of converting prospects to members
  • Recruit, manage, and lead staff to ensure delivery of personal training services in compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Champion the culture for our studio: create an Alloy community of support and accountability where we are #StrongerTogether
  • Organize and plan member focused events and parties over the year to help build community and relationships
  • Critically assess situations to solve challenges that impact studio sales performance and member experience
  • Oversee general operations of the studio
  • Adhere to systems and standards set forth by the Alloy franchisor and franchisee
  • Be a brand champion
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3-5 years of management and sales experience, in a high-end fitness club or gym preferred
  • Proven sales rockstar: experience in pre-sales or other applicable fitness sales a plus
  • Experience as a personal trainer at an upscale gym on a majority commission or FULL commission pay plan being in charge of your own sales preferred
  • Past experience leading and mentoring a team of two or more individuals
  • Ability to hire, direct, coach, train, motivate and evaluate staff
  • Excellent intuitive personal and organizational skills
  • Financial, business and human resource management experience a plus
  • Team-oriented leader with a strong track record as a top performer
  • Passionate about helping others achieve their health and wellness goals
  • Computer literacy
  • Bonus: completed Nationally Recognized Personal Training Certification (NASM, ACSM, NSCA, CSCS, ISSA, NCCPT, NCSF, ACE, etc. OR a BA in Kinesiology or Exercise Science)

ANTICIPATED SCHEDULE:

Schedule can and will be adjusted and finalized based on applicants needs. In general expect
Monday to Friday - Majority AM through early afternoon and 1-2 evening shifts.
~ 2 Saturdays per month

Alloy focuses on small group personal training with no more than 6 clients per session in order to deliver a truly personalized experience. Over 300 Alloy franchises have been awarded, 80 locations are operating nationwide and the Franchise is on pace to achieve their goal of 800 locations by 2030. This will truly be THE small group personal training gym in the near future.
