ROLE DESCRIPTION
This is a full-time on-site role for a Fitness Studio Director at Alloy Personal Training, Hilltop Virginia Beach. We are seeking a professional who has a history of proven success in fitness operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee all aspects of operating a small group personal training facility, including client communication, satisfaction, retention, team building, motivation, community building, marketing, sales, opening/closing procedures, and studio maintenance.
- Conduct and drive membership sales during pre-sale and on-going by phone, text, email, business-to-business, and community event participation.
- Ensure that member satisfaction and retention are in-line with company objectives.
- Personally coach up to 15 hours per week to maintain a connection with members.
- Recruit and train employees, schedule staff according to operational requirements, and conduct weekly staff meetings.
- Mentor and monitor team performance to ensure delivery of membership services in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Always be prepared to take on various duties as the business requires.
- Uphold and maintain the core values of Alloy
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3-5 years of management experience and fitness sales
- Must hold a nationally recognized personal training certification (NASM, ACSM, NSCA, CSCS, ISSA, NCCPT, NCSF, ACE, etc. OR a BA in Kinesiology or Exercise Science).
- Expertise in fitness industry operations with a slant toward premium membership studio experience and other member-related services.
- Strong consultative sales experience using multiple modalities. Experience in pre-sales or other applicable fitness-related sales a PLUS.
- Have a leader mentality, be both motivated and motivating, lead by example, exemplify a strong work ethic.
- Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Outgoing personality with a desire to WIN! Able to make strong networking and business-to-business connections.
- Ability to motivate and inspire clients towards achieving their fitness goals.
- Experience with nutrition coaching. Nutrition certifications a PLUS!
- Medical and/or physical therapy background a PLUS!
COMPENSATION
- Salary range $60,000 - $70,000
- Profit sharing potential in Year 2
