Position Purpose
The purpose of the position of Inside Sales shall be to serve Alloy’s customers by serving their need for replacement parts, mechanical seals, and general customer service.
Responsibilities/Tasks/Functions
- Quoting
- Gather information from customer.
- Utilize JobBoss ERP to categorize request.
- Determine pricing and lead time.
- Complete quote and have the VP of Sales review prior to sending to the customer
- Convey pricing and lead time to customer.
- Follow up with customer.
- Orders
- Successfully receive order.
- Complete Order Form and submit to Office Manager for review and submission for Order Entry
- Customer Service
- Assist office personnel in answering phone.
- Receive and respond to customer inquiries regarding order status.
- Ensure each customer call is properly documented and handled.
- Coordinate customer needs with other departments. (Shipping, Engineering, Etc.)
- Order Fulfillment
- Become familiar with Alloy processes, machines, and parts.
- Be capable of assisting Shipping/Production with pulling parts.
- Capable of boxing parts and preparing for shipment.
- Sales Department Tasks
- Assist Applications Sales group by maintaining current parts pricing and keeping readily available.
- Keep aware of Alloy Applications Sales projects.
- Other Responsibilities as Required.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED REQUIRED.
- Associate’s/ Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Customer Service Experience preferred.

- Competence in Excel.
Authority
Actions involving customer returns, exchanges, credits, etc. require management approval. Changes to standard operating procedure require management approval.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $38,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
