Description : JOB SUMMARY
The health, Safety and Environmental ( HSE) Director leads the Safety Department and provides strategic planning for ASC. Provides leadership for all HSE activities to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations at our facility in Chester Township, PA. Serves as the senior HSE authority to ensure systems are in place to maintain a safe and healthy work environment, which includes compliance with all HSE requirements, regulations, and industry standards. Serves as the management system representative for corporate HSE framework and ensures conformance with these standards. Provides HSE guidance for day-to-day operations.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Provides leadership and technical expertise in Health, Safety and Environmental disciplines
- Approve, track and manage progress of HSE projects
- Creates and implements best practice HSE vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve HSE performance.
- Advise internal departments, including, but not limited to, Product Development, Product Delivery, and Business Support on projects, tasks and initiatives related to HSE
- Responsible for ASC compliance with all applicable safety and environmental regulatory requirements
Responsible for preparing, maintaining, updating and auditing HSE policy and procedures

Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise moving objects weighing up to 10 pounds occasionally and / or a negligible amount of weight frequently. Involves sitting, walking and standing. Use of computer. Occasional exposure to outside elements during site walks; Snow, rain, High Heat etc.
