Preparation of Wheels:
- Remove dirt, grease, and old finishes from wheels using specialized tools and equipment.
- Mask off areas of wheels to protect critical surfaces during refinishing.
Inspection:
- Perform detailed visual inspections for cracks, bends, or damage prior to repair.
- Accurately record findings and communicate issues to the team lead.
Tool Operation:
- Safely operate equipment such as sanders, grinders, and blasting machines to prep wheels.
- Maintain and calibrate tools to ensure efficiency and safety.
Quality Assurance:
- Ensure all wheels meet preparation standards before moving to the next stage of the process.
- Identify and address discrepancies promptly.
Maintenance and Cleanliness:
- Keep workstations and tools clean and organized throughout the shift.
- Follow company protocols for equipment maintenance and waste disposal.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or automotive setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Willingness to work night shifts, including occasional weekends.
Preferred:
- Experience in wheel repair, automotive refinishing, or metalworking.
- Familiarity with safety standards related to chemicals and heavy machinery
