Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chimney and Hearth Lead Technician to join our team. We are looking for a detail-oriented team player. (We are willing to train the right candidate for this position. We also offer entry level apprenticeship programs)
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team to complete projects on time, on budget, and to a high level of quality
- Work with project managers to develop project plans, schedules, and budgets
- Coordinate with the project manager for the delivery of materials and equipment to project sites
- Ensure that work is performed safely and in compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards
- Communicate effectively with clients to answer questions and provide updates on project progress
- Maintain accurate records of all projects, including labor, material, and equipment costs
- Attend training sessions and stay up to date with industry trends and safety standards
- Collaborate with other members of the team to ensure customer satisfaction and the timely completion of projects
- Ensure our customers and their property are treated with respect and cleanliness
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the chimney and hearth field, with at least 2 years of experience leading a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical information in a clear and concise manner
- Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Comfortable working at heights and in outdoor environments, as well as in confined spaces
- Familiarity with industry regulations and safety standards
- Must be able to lift 80lbs
