JOB SUMMARY
Join a tight-knit team that designs and manufactures beautiful, high-quality carbon fiber products and solutions. Prepare, package, and ship our products, ensuring they arrive undamaged at the most cost-effective courier service. Verify and keep records of outgoing shipments.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Prepare packages for shipment; examine work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures; select appropriate shipping containers and pack items to ensure safe delivery.
- Determine the most economical and efficient shipping method via UPS, USPS, and FedEx; determine labeling, weight, and shipping requirements; and create and print shipping labels.
- Affix shipping and postage labels on packed cartons, identifying shipping information for cartons and accurately including any special labels that the customer requires (Do Not Bend, Fragile Handle w/Care, etc.). Tape edges of all packages.
- Log shipment information including the number of shipments, when they were shipped, and how they were shipped on the shipping log for ISO.
MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or a high school equivalency diploma.
- Ability to read, write, follow verbal instructions, and use simple math.

ACCOUNTABILITIES
To ensure the company’s success, complete all tasks accurately, efficiently, and within given timeframes while following ISO procedures. Deliver excellent customer service to internal and external customers and always adhere to company policies and procedures.
MENTAL AND VISUAL REQUIREMENTS
Moderate mental and visual attention is required for performing manual work, machine operations, set-ups, inspections, and adjustments that require frequent decisions to detect and adjust for variance from proper operation.
EQUIPMENT USED
Ability to operate a telephone, computer, and printer to set up shipments. Computer Software: UPS, USPS, and FedEx Online shipping software.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, use hands to finger, grasp, handle, or feel, and perform repetitive motions of the hands and wrists.
- Capable of exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects.
