Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards and comply with relevant regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of quality inspection processes, as well as familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 13485 and CGMP. The Quality Control Inspector will play a critical role in maintaining product integrity and safety throughout the manufacturing process.
Duties
- Conduct thorough quality inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Utilize various measuring tools, including calipers and coordinate measuring machines, to assess product dimensions and tolerances.
- Perform quality audits to verify adherence to established procedures and standards.
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of quality metrics.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with FDA regulations and HACCP guidelines throughout the production process.
- Assist in the fabrication of prototypes or samples for testing purposes when required.
Experience
- Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance roles within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with ISO 13485, CGMP, FDA regulations, and HACCP principles is highly desirable.
- Experience using coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and Calypso software is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills for reporting findings and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
