Administrative Assistant - Manufacturing - Base Salary to 65k / year - Rockville, MD
Our client, an Industrial Manufacturer is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join their onsite team in Rockville, MD.
In this role, the Administrative Assistant will act as the first point of contact welcoming and greeting guests while completing administrative functions.
Responsibilities :
Act as the first point of contact for all guests and visitors that enter the facility
Manage inbound phone calls and direct calls to corresponding departments
Maintain presence of the office to include reception area and conference rooms
Handle the distribution of daily mail to include letters and deliveries
Maintain safety and security within the office to include monitoring visitors and issuing badges
Maintain inventory of office supplies and order supplies when necessary
Assist with scheduling calendars and appointments
Prepare reports as necessary or assigned
Manage records of expenses and other financial reports
Implement policies and procedures to keep office functions running smoothly
Assist with special projects as assigned
Offer support as requested on HR responsibilities
Qualifications :
High school diploma / GED required
Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or Front Desk Coordinator
