Field Sales Manager - Manufacturing - Base Salary to 140k / year - Dallas, TX
Our client manufactures and supplies a range of products in the overhead power transmission and distribution industry as well as telecommunications industry. They are currently seeking a Field Sales Manager to cover the Central US.
Responsibilities :
Identify and develop new accounts, mapping key buying influences within projects.
Build and maintain a 6-12 month pipeline of sales opportunities.
Conduct effective sales calls, product demonstrations, and field trials.
Support and develop relationships with Manufacturers’ Representatives, Distributors, and Wholesalers.
Investigate and report on new product opportunities and market trends.
Collaborate with Product Management and R&E teams to address market needs.
Manage territory expenses and product sample requests.
Provide accurate sales forecasts and execute an annual sales plan.
Educate customers on company product advantages and competitive differentiation.
Present marketing messaging through webinars, Teams meetings, and in-person events.
Assemble and demonstrate company product installations in various settings.
Address and resolve customer complaints promptly.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related field
5 years of experience in outside sales, demonstrating a progression of both responsibility and sales success
Experience in the communications / telecommunications industry selling similar products to support overhead power transmission and distribution
Ability to travel a minimum of 75% of the time – Most of the travel will be via car, but must be willing to fly as well
Ability to manage manufacturer representatives
Must have the ability to build and develop strategic business relationships and understand all the dynamics of the various channels involved in selling to the Broadband Retail channel.
Compensation :
Base salary to 140k / year
401k with company match 25% of the first 8% pre-tax dollars for first 2 years
Profit sharing (15%) after 2 years
