Senior Construction Estimator - Heavy Civil and Utility Construction - Base Salary to 220k / year - Bronx, NY
- Our client is a heavy civil contractor that takes on utility, concrete, and sitework projects throughout the New York metropolitan area. Projects can encompass street construction, pier restoration, utility replacement, shore protection, substation work, and other public and private civil projects.
- In this role, the Senior Construction Estimator will be evaluating the scope of projects and developing a financial summary that stays within the budget and scheduled time frame. The Senior Construction Estimator will work closely with designers and engineers to create estimates, and will be involved in take-offs, weekly bid schedules, client and contract negotiations, and preparation of all price breakdowns. Extensive civil experience in the NYC metro is critical to success in this position.
