Regional Safety Manager - Industrial Construction - Base Salary to 140k / year - Buffalo, NY
Our client is a leading industrial construction company with over 60 years in civil, mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing projects. As they grow to become one of the industry’s top firms, they are searching for a Regional Safety Manager to champion their safety culture on Buffalo-area projects.
The Regional Safety Manager will lead safety efforts to ensure a proactive and positive safety culture, working closely with team members to meet and exceed safety standards.
Responsibilities :
Conducting audits, updating safety programs, and investigating incidents.
Tracking incident metrics and applying findings to improve safety.
Managing worker’s compensation cases with confidentiality and care.
Collaborating with regulatory bodies and internal teams to ensure compliance.
Leading, developing, and overseeing safety team members.
Qualifications :
5 years in safety, including 3 in supervisory roles.
Industry Knowledge : Construction experience required; DOT, MSHA, and other federal regulations are a plus.
Education : Bachelor’s in safety or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
Professionalism and conduct that set the standard for safety within the organization.
