What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Clerk position at Allserve Business Support?
The Accounting Clerk responsibilities include reviewing and assisting with financial records and reports, performing account reconciliations, assisting with budgets and monthly closing processes, collaborating with internal/external customers, and assisting management team as needed with special projects and requests.
Requirements:

- 1 years’ experience in public accounting.
- Two (2) or more years of broad accounting experience.
Duties:
- Enter accounting related information into business logsInspect account books for efficiency and accuracy.
- Organize and update financial records.
- Recommend ways to reduce costs and enhance revenue.
- Reconciling the company’s bank statements and bookkeeping ledgers.
- Prepare documentation for external auditors.
- Completing analysis of the employee expenditures
- Initiating and managing financial and accounting software used by the company.
- Assist with day-to-day accounting including but not limited to A/R, A/P, payroll, G/L accounting, and journal entries Requirements.
- Manage relationships between AP vendors and business unit leaders
- Cut and mail out AP payments for all buildings and ancillary businesses
- Ensure all credit cards and loans are paid timely with Staff Accountant and Director of Finance
Physical Demands & Environment
Work is performed in an office environment and involves typing, talking, sitting, standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting of objects up to 20 pounds.
