About the Role:
This position will report to the Director of Revenue Recognition and will maintain accurate financial information in our systems, ensure requests are fulfilled timely and accurately and assist with other accounting items as needed.
Accountable For:
This position provides customer and vendor accounting support to the organization
Responsibilities
- Maintain all customer & service vendor accounts by entering new records accurately and as needed, perform systematic updates to accounts including all vendor banking updates.
- Process all customer related transactions in NetSuite, provide documentation to projects and field service teams and assist with any questions or inquiries.
- Assist with customer & vendors requests – completing credit applications, vendor profiles, company banking information requests and W9’s.
- Validate customer shipment details against company shipping logs, working with the logistics team on any discrepancies or issues.
- Verify Vendor Banking information – calling vendors to verbally verify new banking details or changes that have been received.
- Assist with file updates, reporting, journal entries and other accounting duties as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Proficient in MS Office products.
- NetSuite ERP desirable or similar ERP experience.
- Transactional experience with order processing, accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Strong clerical and administrative skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate's degree in accounting preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience.
Travel
- Local Travel: Less than 10%
Working Conditions
- Office Environment - Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time and occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading. May be required to exert up to 25 pounds of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
