- Process and maintain accurate records of financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, invoices, and payments
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies or issues
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
- Prepare financial reports and statements for review by management
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Assist with payroll management, including processing timesheets, calculating wages, and ensuring accurate deductions
- Perform data entry tasks to update financial records and maintain databases
```Experience```
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field
- Strong knowledge of technical accounting principles and practices
- Proficient in math and able to perform complex calculations with accuracy
- Familiarity with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) compliance requirements
- Experience in account analysis and reconciliation
- Excellent data entry skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Previous experience using accounting software such as Ceridian or Workday is preferred
- Knowledge of financial services industry and financial acumen is a plus
