POSITION
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Application Strategist to join our SMA Engineering team. As a senior member of the team, you will be responsible for creating and formulating the strategic direction of the Allspring SMA suite of applications by working closely with stakeholders across the firm. You will partner with various individuals in SMA Engineering and broader Allspring Engineering and Technology organization to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technical projects.
You will collaborate extensively with stakeholders and subject matter experts, as well as other cross-functional teams, including software engineers, designers, and testers, to ensure projects are completed successfully, on time, and within budget. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills, as well as a decent technical acumen, with a proven track record of managing projects from conception to completion.
We currently operate in a hybrid working model, whereby you will be required to work in-office 3 days per week.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Data Analysis:
- Analyze investment data to understand business requirements and identify areas for improvement
- Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, and uncover areas for improvement
- Requirement Gathering:
- Work with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business needs and requirements
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Solution Development:
- Develop solutions to business problems and help introduce these solutions to the organization
- Create detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities, and solutions
- Work closely with the technology team to deliver solutions aligned with the business goals
- Project Management:
- Assist in project management tasks, including planning, monitoring, and reporting
- Ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Communicate insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management
- Act as a liaison between stakeholders and technical teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong ability to analyze complex data and business processes in the asset management domain.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with stakeholders and team members.
- Ability to identify problems and develop effective solutions.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools, business collaboration software, and project management tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, computer science, or a related field
