Responsibilities
• Conduct outbound calls to prospective clients using provided lead lists or self-sourced leads.
• Engage prospects in professional, persuasive conversations to identify their insurance needs.
• Qualify leads based on predefined criteria and schedule follow-up appointments with licensed insurance agents.
• Maintain accurate records of all interactions and update the CRM system in real-time.
• Meet or exceed weekly and monthly lead generation and appointment-setting targets.
• Stay informed about the agency's products, services, and industry trends to effectively communicate their value to potential clients.
• Handle objections professionally and ensure a positive experience for all contacts, regardless of interest level.
• Collaborate with the sales team to ensure a smooth handoff of qualified leads.
Requirements
• Proven experience as a telephone lead generator, telemarketer, or similar role, preferably in the insurance, financial services or real estate industry.
• Strong understanding of insurance products and services is a plus.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build rapport quickly and maintain a positive, professional demeanor.
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding performance targets.
• Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
