Receptionist at Joseph Alexander Allstate Agency
Job Summary:
As the Receptionist at the Joseph Alexander Allstate Agency, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors. Your primary responsibilities will include managing phone calls, greeting clients, and providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the agency. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a desire to contribute to a team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and visitors warmly and provide them with assistance.
- Answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally, directing them to the appropriate team member.
- Manage scheduling and collect client's information for appointment bookings for agents.
- Call clients inform of cancellations, renewals, mini reviews, and terminations.
- Handle administrative tasks, including taking payments, sending EOIs and policy declarations pages data, and updating customer accounts.
- Assist with customer inquiries, payments and provide information about our services and products.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient agency operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
$12-$15 per hour
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; experience in an insurance office is a plus.
- Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable with technology.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional demeanor and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
