Job Description:
- Policy Administration: Manage the end-to-end process of policy issuance, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations.
- Underwriting Support: Assist underwriters by preparing and reviewing documentation, gathering necessary information, and ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines.
- Data Entry: Accurately input policy information into the insurance management system, ensuring all records are up-to-date and error-free.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional support to policyholders and agents, addressing inquiries, providing information about policy terms, and resolving issues promptly.
- Documentation Management: Maintain organized records of all policy-related documents, ensuring easy retrieval and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Premium Calculation: Assist in calculating premiums based on underwriting guidelines and policy details.
- Compliance: Ensure all processes and documentation comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Reporting: Generate and analyze reports related to policy issuance, renewals, and endorsements for management review.
- Training and Development: Stay updated with industry trends and regulations and participate in ongoing training to improve knowledge and skills.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in insurance processing, particularly in property and casualty, is highly desirable.
