The Regional Recruiter at ASG ensures the organization attracts, hires, and retains the best employees while growing a strong talent pipeline. This role collaborates with leadership to proactively identify hiring needs while also facilitating onboarding, new hire orientation & workshop training opportunities. Responsibilities include developing partnerships with local and national employment agencies, sourcing candidates using creative recruiting techniques, managing the recruitment process, and ensuring compliance with government and human resources regulations.

Pay Scale: $61,000-$67,000 bonus structure

What you’ll do: (Including, but not limited to):
- Extensive sourcing including developing strategy & implementation to attract qualified candidates
- Networking/event preparation & participation
- Utilize a variety of sourcing methods; including but not limited to job boards, social media & referrals
- Consulting with hiring managers to understand staffing needs/priorities
- Manage candidate applications via the applicant tracking system (ATS)
- Review resumes, certifications & applications
- Conduct candidate pre-screenings & coordinate / schedule interviews
- Build & maintain relationships with candidates, employees & external partners to elevate the recruitment experience and promote ASG as an employer of choice
- Executes closing strategies for employment offers & facilitates compensation negotiations when required
- Administers & manages background checks, drug screenings, MVR’s, security clearances, etc.
- Promotes & presents for internal training opportunities/workshops
- Hosts weekly new hire orientation program
- Performs other duties as assigned, which are reasonably within the scope of the responsibilities of this job classification
What you’ll need:
General
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required
- Requires excellent communication and customer service skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Desired
- 3 years of experience in human resources & recruiting with a focus on utility construction preferred
- Familiarity with recruiting software, HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems, Candidate Management Systems, and Human Resources Information Systems
