The Regional Safety Officer at ASG is responsible for ensuring all employees within the organization comply with organizational safety policies, practices, and procedures, along with Federal, state, county, and municipal codes, regulations, and laws. This role ensures the region is aligned with desired professional standards, accepted business practices, and internal standards related to safety. The Regional Safety Officer oversees and manages the daily operations of all safety officers and support staff while identifying and developing best practices across the company.

What we offer:
Pay Scale: $65,000 - $75,000 / year

What you’ll do: (Including, but not limited to):
- Researches, develops, implements, and manages company safety programs, policies, and procedures meeting OSHA and other applicable standards and requirements
- Coordinating safety practices and procedures across organizational departments and structures
- Evaluates the company’s procedures, facilities, and equipment by auditing and conducting inspections to identify unsafe conditions and practices
- Implement procedures, safeguards, and solutions to improve the safety culture and environment
- Researches and develops promotional safety materials and training programs for distribution to the field
- Research, develop, and deliver safety training programs for new hires and current employees
- Supports company leadership in monitoring employees’ adherence to safety policies and procedures
- Manages incident reporting process and maintains systems utilized to record incidents
- Research and identify best practices in response to incidents to lessen the impact and future occurrence
- Identifying and assessing changes and developments impacting company safety requirements
- Assess, maintain, and file all required OSHA and safety compliance reports
- Responsible for ensuring work is completed efficiently and within established deadlines
- Attend meetings with internal/external stakeholders as needed
- Establish and maintain employee and department KPIs to ensure goals, objectives, and requirements are met
- Conduct field inspections and observations
- Travel to company or client locations. Estimated travel 10%.
What you’ll need:
General
- Bachelor’s in Occupational Safety and Health, related field, or equivalent experience required
- 2 years of safety and compliance-related experience in the construction industry
Technical
- CPR and OSHA certified (OSHA 10, OSHA 30, etc.)
- Strong safety training background
Desired Skills
- Ability to be on-call as needed
- Requires excellent communication and customer service skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
Job Type: Full-Time – Salary (Exempt)
Your Working Environment:
- General office environment or remote work. Fieldwork required. Must be able to timely respond to safety issues and employee injuries when a formal response is needed.
Your Physical Requirements:
- Office and field environment. May require periods of standing for presentations and field work. Travel may be required.
