What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shuttle Driver- FT position at Allstate Sales & Leasing Corp?
- Safely drive trucks to/from assigned locations on schedule and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Perform pre/post trip inspections.
- Keep accurate records of time, expenses and any accidents or violations.
- Complete driver logbook on a daily basis and accurately fill out and turn in all paperwork at the end of the day.
- CDL in good standing required.
- Thorough understanding of DOT and other industry rules and regulations.
- General hands-on knowledge of trucks and the trucking industry.
- Drive all types of trucks Class 5-8 trucks in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Typically moves are day trips but occasional overnight stays may be required. In rare occasions one-way air travel may be required.
- Must be able to perform Driver duties in all safe weather conditions.
- Able to safely drive Class 5-8 trucks.
- Able to fuel trucks and check fluid levels.
- Able to perform pre/post trip inspections.
- Able to climb in/out of several trucks on each scheduled workday.
Shift:
Monday 7:00am-3:30pm
Tuesday- 4:00am-12:30
Wednesday 7:00am-3:30pm
Thursday 4:00am-12:30pm
Friday 4:00am-12:30pm
