Job Title: Project Manager
Duration: 11 months
Location: Universal City, CA 91608
Qualifications:
The Associate Project Manager, Product Development (temp) will define and manage process, project plans, workflows, and creative tools alongside the Global Product Development team. This position reports to the Snr Manager Operations, Brand Management & Product Development.
Essential Responsibilities:
· In partnership with the Global Product Development Operations team, creative and drives process to ensure efficient workflow.
· Creates and manages project timelines and schedules through consistent follow up across the organization.
· Partners with stakeholders elsewhere in the business for seamless management of projects and requests.
· Develops and maintains accurate project list/job status sheet for all projects with proactive management.
· Summarizes feedback to 3rd party partners, internal product development teams, external agency partners and vendors; ensures feedback is properly actioned.
· Manages approvals waterfall for all projects, including legal, trademark and 3rd party partners.
· Develops and manages agendas and minutes for cross-functional meetings.
· Drives for organizational effectiveness by ensuring completion of tasks through meeting recaps and goal/timeline setting.
· Assists in budget admin, including estimates, submitting scope of work and invoices.
· Additional duties as needed to meet business needs.
Qualifications/Requirements:
· 3-5 years or more of related project management experience, ideally within a creative industry.
· Core project management skills, including attention to detail, time management, prioritization, and multitasking abilities
· Must be self-motivated with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting/competing priorities.
· Ability to problem solve and be agile in a complex matrixed environment.
· Ability to collaborate and take initiative.
· Actively contributes to best-in-class culture by embracing change, collaborating with others at various levels and driving for solutions by proactively problem-solving.
· Effective communication, including speaking, writing and active listening.
· Strong MAC skills and highly proficient in Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Keynote.
· Experience in licensing preferred; understanding of product development cycles desired
· Experience working in a Global organization preferred.
