Wayfinding Project Manager - Project Management

Our Healthcare client is seeking a Wayfinding (Design) Project Manager! This role is hybrid with 2 days onsite and 3 days WFH. You can either use your own workstation or one will be provided for you. This role will be for about 1 year.

You will be managing and ensuring successful, on-time, and on-budget completion of signage projects.

What You'll Do

• You will be a part of the project team, assisting and managing scope, budget, and schedule for exterior and interior signage projects
• You will be completing assignments with an emphasis on quality of service to patients and staff while being time and cost efficient
• You will assist the Manager of Signage and Wayfinding to organize and oversee multiple project teams including external signage, consultants, fabircators, contractors, and various internal departments and external vendors
• You will coordinate daily design and construction activies between the internal team, architect, general contractor, signage consultants, and signage fabricator
• Develop scope, budget, and schedule for assigned on or off campus signage projects
• Proactive focus on meeting user and project requirements in a timely and cost effective manner
• Ensure accurate coordination of project contract and financial requirements as well as maintain flexible schedule that alls for off hour work coordination as-needed
  
  

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, interior design, graphic design, industrial design, or relevant experience
• 4-6 years' of project coordination experience
• Prior signage and wayfinding design experience
• If prior signage and wayfinding experience is in the healthcare environment, huge plus!
• You can read and interpret architectural, engineering, furniture, and space planning drawings
• Strong knowledge of code (ADA, T24, fire), hospital licensing, or city permitting requirements is preferred
• Can interpret and apply graphic standards when developing or reviewing signage projects or requests
• Can create custom signage from templates or by following client's construction intent documents
• Understanding of how to develop concise and eective presentations based on audience is preferred
• Ability to prepare, track and manage multi-phase project budgets and schedules
• Strong interpersonal skills interacting with executives, management, and sta level external or internal clients
• Strong organizational and analytical skills; can identify priorities while managing multiple projects
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Adobe Creative Suite (Acrobat, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop), SignAgent Pro and AutoCAD software preferred
