We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Specialist to manage vendor relationships, oversee purchasing operations, and ensure efficient sourcing of plumbing materials and equipment.

Key Responsibilities :
Plumbing Material Procurement : Source and purchase essential plumbing supplies, including pipes, fittings, fixtures, water heaters, pumps, and related equipment.
Vendor Coordination : Maintain relationships with suppliers and manufacturers, negotiate pricing and terms, and ensure timely delivery of materials.
Inventory & Demand Planning : Monitor stock levels, track usage trends, and collaborate with warehouse teams to maintain optimal inventory.
Purchase Order Management : Process purchase orders, verify order accuracy and follow up on deliveries to prevent delays or shortages.
Supplier Performance & Quality Control : Work with vendors to resolve discrepancies, ensure product quality meets company standards, and manage return processes when necessary.
Cost Management : Assist in analyzing procurement costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring purchases align with budgetary goals.
Process Improvement : Support the enhancement of procurement workflows, documentation, and supplier evaluation to improve efficiency.
Collaboration & Communication : Work closely with operations, warehouse, and project teams to meet material needs and resolve procurement-related challenges.
Qualifications :
Education : Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred but not required).
Experience : 3 years of procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience, preferably in the plumbing, HVAC, or construction industries .
Industry Knowledge : Familiarity with plumbing products, materials, and supplier networks.
Technical Skills : Experience with ERP systems, inventory management software, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) .
Negotiation & Communication : Ability to negotiate pricing, build strong supplier relationships, and communicate effectively with internal teams.
Problem-Solving & Organization : Strong analytical skills to optimize purchasing decisions and manage multiple procurement tasks efficiently.
