Casting Associate
Ideal candidate will have previous work experience in a casting shop using a pump to pour melted product into mold or similar.
HOT environment : similar to a foundry, where the shop is typically hotter than ambient temperatures.
Responsibilities / Responsibilities :
- Remove parts from molds, trimming flashing off the parts to meet quality checks.
- Stack Parts onto pallets.
- Trim flashing off the parts to meet quality checks. Perform visual quality checks as instructed.
- Use a pump to pour melted lead into a mold.
Meet production goals and quality standards.
Wear company provided full head gear respirator system : Full-Head gear, long sleeve uniform, ear buds, gloves. Enforce and comply with all environmental, health, and safety requirements.
Ability to read and write in English to understand basic safety instructions
procedures, and policies with the ability to use them in varied situations.
East Houston
Shift : 1st - 4 am to 2 pm (10-hour shifts) Monday to Thursday or 4 am to 12 noon Monday to Friday; based on production scheduled needs.
Average : 40 per week. Ideal candidate will be open to working 32hours to 50 hours based on project production schedule.
