Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and friendly Front Desk Receptionist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to manage a fast-paced environment. As the first point of contact for patients, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere while ensuring the efficient flow of daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients in a professional and friendly manner.
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage appointment calendar.
- Provide patients with necessary paperwork and instructions for appointments.
- Verify patient information and update records as needed.
- Handle patient inquiries and provide information on services and procedures.
- Process payments, insurance verifications, and handle billing inquiries.
- Maintain and organize patient files (both electronic and paper).
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and managing office supplies.
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure seamless patient flow.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional administrative training or certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a plastic surgery office, similar front desk role, or luxury retail.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Professional phone etiquette and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and handle a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in a plastic surgery or dermatology office is preferred but not required.
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
