What are the responsibilities and job description for the PEER SUPPORT SUPERVISOR position at Allwel?
Allwel is a growing, dynamic agency providing community-based empowerment services/ peer support services. We are looking for an experienced Peer Supervisor to lead our Peer Support Specialists. Allwel provides services to clients with Behavioral Health and/or Substance Use histories, helping clients in their recovery process. We are looking for an energetic, inspiring Peer Support Supervisor.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Oversee Peer Specialists as they provide support and advocacy to clients
· Ensure Peer Specialists adhere to ethical practices
· Help Peer Specialists develop their skills and professional growth
· Perform administrative duties
· Help Peer Specialists transition into their roles
· Carry small caseload of clients and provide direct care services to them
· Collaborate with other Behavioral Health CORE services providers in Allwel
Minimum Qualifications:
Must have
- Board certification in Peer Support Specialist or Peer Advocacy
- 2 years experience in a Peer Support/Peer Advocacy role
- 2 years shown experience in a Supervisory role
Bilingual Spanish/English preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $53,000-65,000 annually, depending on experience
