Pay: $95,000 to $105,000 per year

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Wastewater Site Manager to oversee the daily operations of our wastewater treatment facilities. As the Wastewater Site Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all environmental regulations and managing the maintenance and repair of equipment. You will also be responsible for managing a team of technicians and ensuring that all work is completed safely and efficiently. Your ultimate goal will be to ensure that our wastewater treatment facilities are operating at peak performance and meeting all regulatory requirements. Wastewater Site Manager will spend 50% of their time working with the team assisting with water treatment and other 50% will be completing reports, attending meetings and ordering materials. This position requires daily interaction with the team and water treatment operations.  This multifaceted position involves managing personnel matters, serving as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong client relations, overseeing equipment maintenance, and ensuring the production of high-quality effluent in compliance with state and federal regulations.

The Wastewater Site Manager plays a pivotal role in our commitment to environmental stewardship at Allworld Project Management. Additionally, this position involves collaborating with and executing directives from the Associate Vice President of Water Resources. We are seeking a candidate who can uphold our standards for safety and operational efficiency while supporting our environmental objectives.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Highschool Diploma or GED required.
• 5 years of experience in project management of wastewater treatment facilities
• Knowledge of industrial wastewater treatment processes and equipment
• Strong leadership and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
• Experience with budget management
• Experience with regulatory compliance

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of our wastewater treatment facilities
• Ensure compliance with all environmental regulations
• Manage the maintenance and repair of equipment
• Manage a team of technicians
• Ensure that all work is completed safely and efficiently

Typical Physical Demands: 

Field work will require the traversal of uneven terrain and outdoors with conditions resulted from precipitation. Requires the ability to be able to carry 50 pounds of equipment while walking. Work will primarily be outside, and the worker will be exposed to both hot and cold working conditions. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job at a wastewater treatment facility. 

 While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Certificates & Licenses: Wastewater Treatment Licensure preferred. 

Skills:

As the Wastewater Site Manager, you will need to have strong project management skills to oversee the daily operations of our wastewater treatment facilities. You will also need to have a deep understanding of industrial wastewater treatment processes and equipment. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for managing a team of wastewater specialist and ensuring that all work is completed safely and efficiently. Additionally, experience with budget management and regulatory compliance would be beneficial in this role. Overall, your skills will be used to ensure that our wastewater treatment facilities are operating at peak performance and meeting all regulatory requirements.
