The annual pay scale for this position is between $70,000- $90,000 USD if employed in Washington
The annual pay scale for this position is between $63,700.00 - $118,200.00.
Candidates for this role (office-based/ hybrid/ remote) must be located in or near the locations displayed above. The pay range/scale displayed above represents Baker Hughes’ good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum for this position at the time of this posting and applies to the possible locations for this position. Baker Hughes will issue a non-bias competitive offer; the salary range posted for this position reflects the projected hiring range for new hires, full-time salaries in some U.S. locations, not including equity or benefits. As a Jr. Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Maintain, repair, and install industrial x-ray systems and supporting peripheral equipment, such as: X-ray tubes, generators, coolers, scanners, stepper motors/controllers, power supplies, high voltage control circuits, motion control and high-end PC’s.
- Providing customers with technical support via phone and onsite service
- Providing timely completion of standard service reports, invoicing packages, and other administrative requirements.
- Being responsible for driving customer satisfaction from commitment through quality service standards.
- Monitoring site safety during work scope execution.
To Be Successful In This Role You Will Require
- Possess a two-year technical degree (AEET, AMET) and at least 4 years of previous experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment OR Possess a four-year technical degree in Electronics (BSEET, BSEE) or Mechanics (BSMET, BSME).
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 lbs, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Candidate must be willing to submit to a background investigation, including for example: verification of past employment, criminal history, driving record and educational background.
- Be able to travel up to 70% of the time for work
- Possess a valid driver's license and passport (or able to obtain a passport).
- Must currently hold valid US citizenship status

- 70% or more travel. You will be paid for travel time as well as overtime if more than 8 hours are worked a day. Travel costs will also be paid.
