Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Estimator to join our team in Marietta, Georgia. This is a full-time, salaried position, ideal for someone with experience handling large-loss and complex claims. The Estimator will play a crucial role in preparing detailed and accurate estimates for property damage claims, working closely with our team of public adjusters, contractors, and policyholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed estimates for large-loss and complex property damage claims using industry-standard software (e.g., Xactimate).
- Analyze and interpret scope sheets, reports, photos, and other documentation to create comprehensive repair estimates.
- Collaborate with public adjusters to ensure estimates align with claim requirements and policy coverage.
- Communicate effectively with contractors and policyholders to gather necessary details for accurate estimating.
- Provide support in addressing carrier questions and revisions regarding submitted estimates.
- Stay up-to-date with current industry standards, building codes, and pricing trends.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven experience with large-loss and complex claim estimation.
- Proficiency in estimating software, particularly Xactimate.
- Strong understanding of construction processes and building codes.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members, contractors, and policyholders.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in property damage estimation or a related field.
- In-office presence required in our Marietta, Georgia office.
- Availability to start immediately.
