The Opportunity

The Analyst will play a pivotal role in driving our data analytics initiatives forward across Ally. They are expected to lead analytical projects and be able to extract valuable insights from complex datasets and provide actionable recommendations to drive business success. Work responsibilities will include leading end-to-end data analysis , collaborating with cross-functional teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs), and presenting findings and recommendations to senior management.

Customer Insights & Innovations supports analytics needs across the enterprise. We serve as a springboard for cross-enterprise innovation through design thinking and original data-based insights, The teams leverage consumer and customer feedback as we build Ally’s experience ecosystem with seamless 360-degree digital financial solutions. This department helps heighten perception of Ally as a purpose-driven brand through compelling communication. It builds consumer trust and awareness through a holistic thoughtful leadership initiative, helping convert consumers to customers, customers to brand advocates, and employees to grassroots ambassadors.

The Work Itself

  • Responsible for leading the creation of new analysis to progress the business.
  • Heavier emphasis on business partnering and subject matter expertise in not only data but how the business operates.
  • Transform data insights into visually accessible formats such as charts, graphs, and dashboards, enabling intuitive comprehension of complex information at a glance.
  • Establish and uphold automated data processes with attention to detail and ongoing maintenance.

Skills

The Skills You Bring

  • 1 years of analytics experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics or applied economic preferred or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree.
  • Strong database/SQL skills required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
