The Senior Digital Analyst will be responsible for driving insight development across all digital platforms; leads the development, operationalization, and communication of key metrics related to digital experiences.
We’re looking for someone that knows how to bring analytic concepts to life, helping the business make informed decisions about customer experience. Experienced candidates will understand digital analytics data and use analytics techniques to explain relationships between customer engagement and business outcomes. Data development skills are essential with robust critical thinking capabilities and proficiency in statistical problem-solving. This role is dynamic, challenging and requires a combination of technical, analytical, and business skills, data visualization and creativity, and excellent communication skills.

Base Pay Range: $85000 - $150000 USD
An individual's position in the range is determined by the specific role, the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer.
Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan.

The Work Itself
- Develop insights about customer experiences across digital platforms, helping the organization create a best-in-class digital offering
- Create and maintain dashboards for internal stakeholders that track key metrics; assist with interpretation as needed
- Assist in behavioral profile analysis to better understand and segment our customers.
- Maintain documentation of all developed reports, metrics, and dashboards related to backend database table management, database table relationships, calculations, queries, dashboards, and visualizations
- Manipulate and manage data that is typically very large, possibly unstructured, and from multiple sources
- Participate in Ally Analytics communities to strengthen core capabilities and promote analytics culture
- Establishes close working relationships with other teams in the digital space to build impactful analytic stories.
The Skills You Bring
- 3 years' work experience using analytics techniques, across the spectrum of diagnostic analysis and predictive/prescriptive approaches required
- 2 years of experience in digital and site analytics preferably with Adobe Analytics, Customer Journey Analytics or Google Analytics
- 2 years of experience in understanding website and app tagging
- Demonstrated experience with SQL to create, manipulate and concatenate large datasets
- Digital analytics background with strong business acumen, preferably with an understanding of online customer behaviors in financial services or related field
- Degree with Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or related field preferred. Master’s degree with solid hands-on work and consulting experience a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Power BI
- Familiar with customer experience data in an omnichannel setting, with exposure to emergent technologies and platforms that enable these workstreams
- Comfort level with ambiguity and ability to handle multiple projects at the same time
